I modeled this set piece as part of the main setting for the show Dragons: Rescue Riders. I was privileged to be the lead environment artist for most of the show's run and enjoyed the challenge of translating an established property to a more kid-friendly world. The design language of the show changed a lot as I was working on the model and it was an interesting challenge to get it to the final product and establish a look that carried throughout the show's production.
I modeled everything in Maya, though the trees were created in SpeedTree and edited in Maya. The grass seen in the show clips was created using xgen by a different department.
